Description:

Power on your retro Game Boy with a replacement on / off power slider switch board kit, compatible with Nintendo Game Boy Advance SP consoles.

This power switch board kit can fix some power issues often caused by corrosion or failure of the on/off switch.

The PCB board allows the included switch to be positioned correctly for use in a Gameboy Advance SP, and replace the now discontinued proprietary switch that originally came in the console.

No console modification is needed to use this part, the switch aligns with all of the original solder points where the original switch is removed from thanks to the pcb board included.

Once the switch PCB is soldered to the mainboard the switch will be in the correct position for the external plastic slider button and will function like the original.

Requires technical fitting to install including soldering, the part comes in kit form, and requires the switch to be soldered to the provided board. The board is then soldered to the console mainboard using the same solder points as the original switch that was removed.
