Description:
A genuine Energizer CR2032 3V lithium coin cell in a child-resistant retail blister pack.
It fits retro consoles and accessories with a removable coin cell, with no soldering needed:
- Sega Saturn – clock and save battery, in the slot on the back of the console.
- Sega Dreamcast VMU – takes two CR2032 batteries under the rear cover, so order two per VMU.
- Neo Geo Pocket & Neo Geo Pocket Color – backup battery for saves and the clock, in its own compartment.
It can also be used in game cartridges or consoles where a CR2032 battery holder has been retrofitted in place of the original soldered battery. This battery has no solder tabs, so it cannot replace a tabbed CR2032 unless the circuit board has been modified with a battery holder. Never solder directly onto a coin cell, as the heat can damage it.
It also suits remotes, key fobs, scales and other small electronics.
