Description:

The Game Boy Advance IPS screen kit from Hispeedido, often referred to as a "one chip" ips solution, offers a modern and bright screen for your retro handheld, with optional soldering to give you adjustable brightness controls.

The pack includes the LG IPS panel which is generally regarded as the best quality panel used in these types of kit.

If you wish to control the brightness and be able to adjust the brightness up and down, you will need to solder, this is optional, the default setting without soldering is the full brightness setting.

A wire needs to be soldered to T2, the left trigger and the right trigger if you want to be able to change the brightness, care must be taken not to overheat the ribbon cable as it can cause the solder pads to delaminate and come off, a variable temperature soldering iron is recommended and soldering practice is also advised if your not experienced.

Once installed you can enjoy fantastic picture clarity with no screen tearing.

To install this upgrade you will need to have a IPS ready shell or modify the console housing. This kit is compatible with Funnyplaying IPS ready shells as well as some other branded and non branded IPS ready Game Boy Advance shells, you will need a shell that works with a 3.19" IPS panel.

You will need to have some patience and good electronics skills to fit this kit.

This kit contains: LCD screen, ribbon cable, hookup wire & foam.

Please note that the LCD screen and ribbon cable require care to install and are fragile in nature, they are also more susceptible to damage once installed if the console is dropped, LCD screens can crack under pressure or with a impact, our warranty does not cover accidental / user damage of any components in this kit. Replacement parts can be purchased separately.

Other items needed which are not included: Modified console housing, basic opening tools to fit this screen, soldering iron (optional), non of these items are included.
