This repair kit includes 3 capacitors needed to resolve problems such as the Game Boy Color not powering on, experiencing volume issues or a dim LCD screen.
The 3 capacitor kit are compatible with Nintendo Game Boy Color console and are the same Panasonic capacitor series S originally used by Nintendo.
Included Panasonic capacitors in the following values:
1 x 100uf 6.3V (Motherboard location C32) 1 x 100uf 4V (Motherboard location C38) 1 x 22uf 16V (Motherboard location C35)
A reasonable level of soldering ability are required to install the replacement capacitors. The console must be opened to install.
A Philips #00 and Tri-wing security screwdriver are required to open the console (Not included).
Soldering iron, solder & desoldering braid required to fit capacitors, (not included).
