Atari 50: The Anniversary Celebration – Expanded Edition takes you on an interactive journey through decades of video game history, combining an extensive collection of playable classics with interviews, archival material, historical artefacts and behind-the-scenes stories exploring the people and games that helped shape the industry.

Developed by Digital Eclipse, the collection features more than 140 playable games spanning seven classic platforms, including Arcade, Atari 2600, Atari 5200, Atari 7800, Atari 800, Atari Jaguar and Atari Lynx. Alongside familiar favourites are rare titles, prototypes and games that have been difficult to experience on modern hardware.

The Expanded Edition adds 39 additional games and two new interactive timelines. The Wider World of Atari explores Atari's lasting influence on developers and fans, while The First Console War examines the historic rivalry between the Atari 2600 and Mattel Intellivision. These new sections feature additional playable games, vintage advertising, historical material and interviews with important figures from the industry.

More than simply a compilation, Atari 50 combines playable games with an interactive documentary experience, making it an excellent celebration of Atari's legacy and the history of home and arcade gaming.
