This Game Boy Advance SP battery is an ideal replacement for expired battery packs that no longer hold a good charge.
The capacity is a true capacity and 200mah larger than the original Nintendo battery cell (Original Nintendo 600mah - Helder replacement 800mah)
It works in exactly the same way as the original, charging using the same wall chargers or USB cables, easy install and easy removal, no modification needed, just plug and play. A small plastic 3D printed shim is included for inserting just below the battery for some shells if the battery appears to be fitting too loosely, this is not required in the majority of cases but is included.
Please note: This battery pack is only compatible with Nintendo Game Boy Advance SP console.
A small philips screwdriver is required to open the battery door to replace the battery (not included)

Direct slot in, i jadnt noticed how quickly my old game boy advance SP ran down. I charged it once 2 days ago and its still good after about 7 hours of play so far.

Can confirm, this battery arrived to the Canary Islands after 18 days! I found my old gba (not broken, but a pillow bat as expected after 15+ years) and decided to revive the little guy. A great aftermarket battery.
I recently refurbished my old GBA SP and the OEM battery was swelling and couldn't hold a charge. This replacement lets me get a good few hours of gameplay with an IPS screen at full brightness. Would recommend!

As advertised - plugged right in and charges (I have a modded SP with the FunnyPlaying USBC charger, and this takes charge from that just fine). Only unusual thing is the battery is smaller than the compartment, but a little plastic shim was included to put pressure on the contacts.

Tested with a cheap ips at lvl 10 brightness and lasted almost 2 hours, the original busted battery lasted around 30 min with the old screen and 5 min with the ips so .. its a great upgrade.
