This adapter is best suited for playing NTSC-J (Japanese) games on a NTSC US console.
While PAL games are adaptable for the cartridge fitment with this adapter,it does NOT make any frequency changes or enable the 50Hz signal.
Depending on your console & TV setup, you may need further modfiication to your console or a different TV in order to play PAL european games with this adapter.
Many modern TVs support both 60Hz & 50Hz, older TVs may only be 60Hz NTSC compatible.
