Description:

The VA0/VA1 Game gear IPS LCD kit has been designed to give the absolute best image quality on your old console.

The kit uses an IPS panel rather than TFT to provide amazing viewing angles, deep blacks, rich colours and bright whites.

IPS is the technology used in smart phones - vs TFT which was the standard used in the 2000's. The kit does not provide VGA out.

An easy install flex ribbon is now included, and this kit has been updated to support both VA0 / VA1 models of Game Gear with the same kit.

It is recommended that you re-cap your GG and confirm it is functioning correctly before installing the IPS LCD kit.

Shell modification and soldering is required.

Kit contains IPS screen, PCB board, 3D printed alignment bracket and no wires install flex.

Amazing Screen for Sega Game Gear

This is my second purchase and I'm very happy again. Display is Great, bright and sharp. Fitting is not so difficult if You have proper tools and if You have some soldering experience. I saved my Game Gear hence the old screen was faulty with lines all over and recap didn't solve the problem with old faulty screen. Highly Recommended Screen. Also wanted to say Thank You to Kieran for all his support and advice. If You have Sega Game Gear then You have to buy this screen which is really Amazing.

Best screen for the GG

This screen is excellent the quality of the picture in games have sprung to life the kit is straight forward just make sure you prep the GG before you begin to solder you wont regret this screen upgrade

100% my go-to screen for the GG. It's crazy how much of a difference this makes to playing your old favourites again! So bright and crisp! This IPS is way ahead of anything else on the market!
