It displays the picture on the top upper portion of the Nintendo 3DS XL 2012 console.
Requires console disassembly and technical knowledge to install, once the console is disembled the part is plug and play using the ribbon cables attached to the LCD.
Compatible with Nintendo 3DS XL 2012 model only, not compatible with New 3DS or New 3DS XL consoles.
