Toaplan Arcade Collection Vol. 1 brings together eight classic arcade shoot-'em-ups from legendary Japanese developer Toaplan, one of the studios that helped define the genre throughout the 1980s and 1990s.
Return to the golden age of the arcade with a collection spanning some of Toaplan's most influential shooters, from the helicopter action of Tiger-Heli and Twin Cobra to later favourites such as Batsugun, a title widely associated with the development of the bullet-hell style of shoot-'em-up.
The collection includes:
Tiger-Heli
Flying Shark
Twin Cobra
Fire Shark
Out Zone
FixEight
Dogyuun
Batsugun
Each game retains its classic pixel-art presentation and demanding arcade gameplay while adding modern features including quick save, online leaderboards, screen filters and other quality-of-life improvements.
Whether you're a long-time Toaplan fan or discovering these arcade classics for the first time, Toaplan Arcade Collection Vol. 1 offers an excellent introduction to one of the most important names in shoot-'em-up history.
It also supports up to three local players in compatible titles/modes, with English and Japanese game text.
