The screen looks great but I am now experiencing dead pixels about a month after installing the screen. I kept it in a cool dry area and don’t know if it’s normal for these screens to experience dead pixels this early or if I just got unlucky I just hope no more show up. Otherwise a good screen

It's a good idea to solder a thin wire to the ribbon cable and connect it to the light button's test point on the board. With that you can disable the touch functions on the screen, saving it from the finger smudges and keeping the light button functional

Very easy to do and works perfectly!

Mostly easy install!

Brilliant product and a simple install. Simply remove the old screen, connect the new screen via the ribbon and you're good to go.

This is an incredible upgrade for the SP. Delighted with this product.

The screen installation was simple and quick and I was impressed with the screen quality. After about half an hour of gameplay the screen started cycling brightness levels/pixel settings. Now anytime I touch the top half of the gameboy shell the sensors picks it up and starts cycling.

Very nice quality and easy to install

This screen was very high quality and bright. It gave new life to my original system and makes it so that I can now see the screen in bright rooms, outside in the sun, and all the colors brighty pop instead of fade as in the original system. For those of you who knew played on the original systems, you know how big of a deal it is to now be able to play the game in full sun!
The screen came in a timely manner and was a high quality wrap with provided tools for install such as plastic fibs, so I was very impressed with what was included. However, I did not find install instructions so had to resort to a youtube video. The soldering install caused damage to my system that required it be shipped off to a repairer, so after that additional step, I was very happy with the functionality of my screen.

This screen is amazing really vivid, clours really pop, and the 15 brightness modes

This screen is such an improvement from an original SP screen. Only downside would be that it uses up more battery power.

This new screen has made a huge difference to my gameboy, especially since it was an AGS-001 screen. The colours are actually visible and the image is sharp.

The installation was very straightforward so swapping out the screen was nice and easy.

just a really good screen

This screen is exactly as advertised. Playing my Gameboy Advance SP is an entirely new experience, as I can actually SEE the games properly now. The touch sensors work perfectly, but I chose to solder in the optional wire as well, just because I wanted the old backlight button to be functional. Installation was a breeze.

Very easy and massive transformation. Top tip: Make sure you screw the battery door on temporarily when putting shell back together to ensure the little metal cube for the door screw doesn't end up rattling around when your finished.

Perfect, and a good price. If any complaints, it would be that there’s a slight brightness in the corners of the screen but that may be something that is my fault, but it’s so unnoticeable that it’s no big deal

I liked that it was a simple drop in solution. The screen came well packaged and protected with no faults.

What I disliked was that the solder gave little instructions (luckily, the internet was helpful). It was a tad thicker so fitting it in a new case is a bit of a squeeze. The colour, well that’s on me, but it was hard to tell what true shade of red it was.

But overall, I love it. I really do. It’s bright, easy to use and looks phenomenal.

Been waiting years for a drop in IPS, upgrade. Though I have no gba sp expirience I do have electronics expirience and this install with solder start to finish took maybe an hour and a half. Very satisfied
