Under Defeat brings the acclaimed arcade and Dreamcast shoot-'em-up to Nintendo Switch in an enhanced modern release.

Originally developed by G.rev for Japanese arcades before receiving a celebrated Dreamcast release in 2006, the game puts you in control of a heavily armed helicopter in an intense vertically scrolling war.

Unlike traditional shoot-'em-ups where weapons fire directly ahead, Under Defeat allows you to angle your helicopter and fire diagonally, creating a distinctive style of play that rewards careful positioning and precision.

An independently firing support unit adds another tactical element as you battle enemy aircraft, tanks and other military forces across destructible environments.

This updated edition includes the classic arcade experience alongside New Order Mode, which adapts the action for modern 16:9 displays.

Refined textures and four selectable soundtracks are included, featuring a newly created soundtrack from original composer Shinji Hosoe.
