Common questions from US customers

Will I get a customs bill or have to pay a brokerage fee when my order arrives?
No. Import duty and taxes are included in your checkout price and handled by ZedLabz. There is no customs bill, no brokerage fee and nothing to pay to the carrier.

Didn’t the US end duty-free imports for small parcels? Does that affect me?
The US did remove its duty-free allowance for low-value international parcels, and many overseas orders now arrive with tariffs, import duty and carrier fees to pay. ZedLabz orders are not affected – the duty is already included in the price you pay at checkout.

Is the price on the site the final price?
Yes. Our US storefront shows prices in US dollars with import duty and taxes included. The total at checkout is the total you pay.

Who delivers my order?
Your order is delivered by your usual mail carrier, typically USPS, in the normal way. It does not normally need to be signed for and will not be held pending payment.

What if a carrier does ask me to pay something?
It shouldn’t happen, but carriers occasionally make mistakes. Don’t pay – contact us with your order number and a photo of the request, and we’ll work to resolve it.

Based on those estimates, a portion of our revenue goes to carbon removal companies that have been vetted by scientists from Carbon Direct. Those companies use that money to remove however much carbon our shipments created. Any extra funds go toward the further development of carbon removal technologies.
