Description:

This internal HDMI kit gives your the PS2 Slim a clean digital picture on modern TVs. Instead of converting the analogue AV signal, it takes the video directly from the console's digital video bus and outputs it as HDMI. The result is much sharper and more stable than an external converter.

Output can be set to 480p or 1080p. The built-in on-screen menu, opened with a controller button combination, lets you choose aspect ratio and integer or full-screen scaling, add scanlines, and adjust image position and de-interlacing.

Compatible with PS2 Slim consoles from SCPH-700xx through SCPH-7900x. The flex cable is specific to the motherboard revision (GH-032 to GH-062), so check the GH number printed on your board and the SCPH model on the label before ordering. Later SCPH-7900x boards (GH-061/062) use a different, more expensive version.

This is an advanced mod. A flex cable has to be soldered to fine-pitch points on the console motherboard, and the HDMI port has to be mounted in the case. Good soldering skills and a fine-tipped iron are essential. Hispeedido does not supply printed instructions, but installation guides are available on request.
