A third party compatible replacement battery terminal and sync pcb board rebuild kit for the Nintendo Wii balanace board, it is used to restore the battery compartment and allow the balance board to power up again with fresh batteries.
Leaked batteries can eat through the metal on battery terminals and even damage the solder joints on the PCB board, in some cases the blue and green corrosion can be cleaned off with a wire brush or other abrasive tools, but the amount of leaking and time left can result in more perminent damage, remember to remove batteries when not in use for a period of time.
Please note: This is supplied in kit form with soldering needed to fit the componenets to the board and also into the Wii balance board, technical level medium, the balance board needs to be dissassembled to install, please seek a professional installer if you are unsure about fitting.
This kit is ideal to repair battery corrosion issues where leaked batteries have damaged the battery terminals and or the PCB inside.
The PCB is provided blank with the PCB components supplied loose, you will need to first solder the components to the PCB before attempting to fit it in place, you will then need to desolder the connecting cable from the original board and solder it onto a new one.
