Description:This is a spare flex ribbon cable for the Hispeedido PS2 Fat digital HDMI kit. It links the HDMI board to the console motherboard and is the part most likely to be damaged during installation, through overheating, lifted pads or a torn trace.
It is the same design as the cable supplied with the kit, so it can be fitted in exactly the same way. PS2 Fat flex cables are specific to the motherboard revision (GH-017, GH-019, GH-022, GH-023, GH-026), so please make sure the cable matches your board.
Fitting requires fine-pitch soldering to the console motherboard. Please only attempt this if you are confident with your soldering, and check the cable for damage before installing. This is the cable only; the HDMI board is not included.
This is an unofficial product which is not manufactured by, endorsed, sponsored or licensed by Sony Interactive Entertainment.
