Compatibility is the headline. One stick handles Nintendo Switch 2, Switch, PS4, PS3, Xbox Series S/X, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PC, macOS, Steam Deck, Raspberry Pi and Android, which means it follows you across every system you own rather than being tied to one. PS5 support is available through MayFlash's own Magic-S Ultimate adapter or MagicBoots-S5 converter.

The part that matters to fighting game players is what is underneath. The F300 is designed to take genuine Sanwa Denshi buttons and joysticks, so it works as a stock stick out of the box and as a platform for a full parts swap later. That upgrade path is the reason it has stayed popular for a decade.

On PC it supports both XINPUT and DINPUT, so it works with modern titles and with older games that expect the legacy standard. The D-Pad and X/Y analog axis modes can be exchanged, and a turbo function with several speed settings is built in.

Panel layout follows the standard eight-button arcade arrangement, and the base is weighted and large enough to sit on your lap or a table without sliding.
