Is the DSi charger the same as the DS Lite charger?
No. The DS Lite uses the USG-002 charger; the DSi uses the WAP-002 charger and connector. The two are not interchangeable. The DSi WAP-002 is the same charger family used on the 3DS, 2DS, New 3DS and New 3DS XL.
Can the DSi play GBA cartridges?
No. Nintendo removed the Slot-2 GBA cartridge slot on the DSi. For Game Boy Advance compatibility on a DS-family handheld you need a DS or DS Lite. See our DS Lite accessories.
Are DSi stylus pens the same as DS Lite?
No. The DSi stylus is shorter than the DS Lite stylus and lives in a different slot. Use a DSi-specific stylus.
Is the DSi region locked?
DSi-enhanced cartridges and DSiWare are region-locked. Standard DS-mode cartridges are region-free, so a UK DSi plays UK, US and Japanese DS-mode games but only UK / European DSi-enhanced titles.
