The Xbox One pad is one of the most-used controllers of the past decade, and the parts that wear are predictable, analog sticks drift, bumpers crack, triggers lose tension, batteries lose runtime. We stock the spares for all the standard wear points, across the original 2013 launch pad, the S/X revisions and the Elite series.
Quick picks by symptom
- If your sticks drift: a replacement stick module is the standard fix. Hall-effect modules use magnetic sensors instead of contact-based potentiometers, avoiding the contact wear mechanism that causes drift.
- If a bumper has cracked or lost click: the bumper button assembly is replaceable. Common wear point on heavily-used pads.
- If triggers feel weak or sticky: replacement trigger modules or springs restore tension. The Elite trigger assemblies are different parts to the standard pad.
The Xbox One controller repair ladder
- Open the pad: the standard pad uses Torx security screws (T8). The Elite pad uses different screws and a different teardown sequence.
- Replace the stick module: light to intermediate soldering. Hall-effect alternatives install the same way.
- Replace bumpers and triggers: mostly mechanical work once the pad is open.
- Battery / battery cover refresh: replaceable AA cover and door. Some users swap to a rechargeable internal pack with a USB cable.
- Cosmetic shell swap: see Xbox One controller shells for replacement housings.
We ship globally with tracking on every order.

Xbox One controller spare parts. FAQs
Can I fix Xbox One controller stick drift?
Yes. The standard fix is replacing the analog stick module. Hall-effect modules use magnetic sensors and avoid the contact-wear failure mechanism that causes drift on the original sticks. Both involve a controller teardown and light soldering, set aside an evening if it's your first repair.
What screwdriver do I need to open an Xbox One pad?
The standard Xbox One pad uses Torx T8 security screws on the rear. The Elite series uses different screws and a more involved teardown, see the model-specific guide before starting. Browse our screwdrivers for compatible drivers.
Are original Xbox One and Series X/S controller parts cross-compatible?
Partly. The original 2013 pad and the S revision share most internals; the X revision (2019 Bluetooth model) differs. The Series X/S controller is a closer relative but has design changes, different bumper geometry, different shell. Check the model number before ordering parts.
Why upgrade to Hall-effect sticks on an Xbox pad?
Hall-effect modules sidestep the contact-wear mechanism that causes drift on standard potentiometer sticks. For a pad that's already developed drift, it's a longer-term fix than a like-for-like replacement. Some users notice a slight feel difference (deadzone, return spring), most adjust within a session.
