Arzette: The Jewel of Faramore is a colourful action-adventure platformer inspired by the distinctive animated CD-ROM games of the 1990s, combining hand-painted backgrounds, detailed sprite artwork and fully voiced cartoon cinematics.

After ten years of peace, the evil Daimur has returned, leaving Princess Arzette as the Kingdom of Faramore's best hope of restoring harmony.

Explore a varied world filled with unusual characters, enemies, secrets and side objectives as you uncover mysteries and prepare to confront Daimur once again.

Explore diverse locations, battle enemies and help the inhabitants of Faramore to acquire new items and abilities that open up additional possibilities throughout your adventure.

The game combines traditional 2D platforming and combat with exploration and character interactions, accompanied by extensive animated story sequences.

Created as an affectionate homage to the infamous CD-i era of interactive games, Arzette deliberately recreates their unusual animation and presentation while building a new, modern action-platforming adventure around the concept.

The development team includes artist Rob Dunlavey, Digital Foundry's John Linneman, Audi Sorlie, and composer Jake "Button Masher" Silverman, alongside returning voice talent associated with the games that inspired it.
