Description: Warning - This mod does not support charge and play, the console should be turned off to charge the battery.Enhance your Game Boy Color with the Lipo battery mod for Game Boy Color.
The mod consists of a small charging board PCB and a 1800mah battery, which requires internal installation and soldering.
There are 3 pads and a further two hookup wires that need to be soldered to install this mod.
A modified battery compartment is required on the shell for the battery to fit into the compartment, Funnyplaying Game Boy Color shells already have a hollowed out battery compartment, standard shells will need cutting to install.
The battery charges from the original DC port on the bottom of the console using the included cable, making it possible to fit the battery mod without cutting port holes into the side of the shell.
Please note:
Charge and play is not supported by this mod, the console should be switched off to charge the battery.
This battery pack is only compatible with Nintendo Game Boy Color
A lipo battery ready shell, or shell cutting is required for the battery cell to fit into the compartment. Funnyplaying shells are compatible without modification.
