Battle Chasers: Nightwar is a turn-based RPG built on Joe Madureira's comic series, with combat directly inspired by the console RPG greats.

Plan for survival. The desolate town of Harm's Way is the only place to prepare - choose three of the heroes you have unlocked, fill your travel backpack from your stash, make sure each character has the best equipment and abilities, and then strike out.

Explore an overworld presented in classic form and in real time, peppered with hidden dungeons, rare bosses and randomly appearing friends and foes, with a useful arsenal of Dungeon Abilities for every character.

Combat is old-school in the best sense, using a unique two-tiered mana system and turn-based initiative, with random buffs and debuffs appearing on the initiative slots to keep each fight from playing out identically.

Dungeons are action-oriented and randomly generated, loaded with traps, puzzles and secrets that need each hero's particular dungeon skills to survive. The story is non-linear, driven by lore you discover on items, landmarks and hidden elements throughout the world.
