Description:

Repair Joy-Con 2 connection problems at the console side with this replacement magnetic connector and ribbon cable set for the Nintendo Switch 2.

Each side of the Switch 2 console has a magnetic connector that the Joy-Con 2 controllers attach to; it carries power and data between the controller and the console mainboard. Damage, corrosion or a torn ribbon can stop controllers being detected or charged in handheld mode.

The ribbon cable plugs into the console mainboard, so no soldering is needed, but the console must be opened and partly disassembled to fit it.

The left and right connectors are different parts – this set includes both. Third party replacement part.

Please note: a faulty connection can have more than one cause – trying a known working Joy-Con 2 can help show whether the fault is in the controller or the console.
