Description:Chip Quik SOLDERWICK2.0 is a quality copper desoldering braid for lifting old solder off pads, clearing through-hole joints and tidying up after component removal. The #3 green size is 2.0mm wide, a good all-round width for console and controller repair work.
The braid is impregnated with a no-clean flux, so it wicks solder quickly and leaves minimal residue. Lay it on the joint, press with a hot iron and the solder is drawn up into the braid; snip off the used section and carry on.
Supplied as 5ft (1.52m) on a plastic bobbin.
