Description:

This SD adapter solution for Sega Dreamcast upgrades the console from optical disc to modern digital memory, perfect if your laser has now failed with age.

Compatible with VA1 models of Sega Dreamcast, this solution requires no soldering, just internal fitting and removal of the optical laser lens in the console. No other modifications are required to use the adapter in the console, it simply connects to the same socket as the laser lens.

Note that this is a clone version of the GDEMU that appears to be no longer made by the original creators, to our knowledge all GDEMU are now a clone,

Although you can technically update the software you should not attempt to update it as the process is not straight fowards and it will likely brick the device, updating is generally not needed, the software is stable and has been in use for a long time.
