Description:Replace a faulty or damaged headphones port on your Sega Game Gear with this compatible replacement which offers the same functionality and fitment into the console.
Removing and installing this part requires desoldering and soldering skills, the socket is a through hole component and will require the mounting holes to be cleared of solder before fitting it in place of the old part.
This part is located on a seperate smaller sound board making it a little easier to work on once removed, it is recommended to recap the board whilst doing this repair if the console has not recently been recapped.
The port accepts regular 3.5mm headphone jacks for headphones or aux cables etc.
