Description:

This internal adapter lets your PS2 (fat models) use modern wireless controllers. It fits inside the console behind the original controller ports, and once paired your Bluetooth pad works just like an original wired controller.

Up to 2 Bluetooth controllers can be connected at once, and you can mix them with original wired controllers. Plugging in a wired pad simply moves the wireless controller to the next free port. LEDs show the pairing status, and the console's reset button gains extra functions: hold it to test ports, disconnect controllers, enter pairing mode or restore factory settings.

This board fits the original "fat" PlayStation 2 and needs good soldering skills to install; it is not suitable for the slim PS2. The original plastic controller port housing is reused and is not included. Power-cycling the console puts the adapter into pairing mode for controllers that have not been paired before.

This adapter is not a BlueRetro product and does not use BlueRetro firmware. It runs Hispeedido's own iBlueControlMod firmware and configuration app; do not flash BlueRetro firmware to it, as this will damage the board. Button mapping and firmware updates are done from a computer with Bluetooth; phones are not supported.
