Description:The robot_retro GBA SP overclocker flex mod provides a simple way of overclocking or underclocking your Gameboy advance SP.
The installation process has been tidied and simplied with the use of a flex PCB, only 3 wires are needed to be soldered to test points.
NOTE: Whilst the mod can be soldered by hand, the crstal will need to be removed, ideally with hot air.
Highlights:- Supports adjustable clock speeds at 30%, 50%, 75%, 130%, 150%, and 170% of the base clock.
- Increase speed: Press Select and R shoulder button together
- Decrease speed: Press Select and L shoulder button together

- Power LED blinks faster when overclocked
- Power LED blinks slower when underclocked
- Solid green LED at base (stock) speed
Top speed limits configurable to 170%, 150%, or 130% depending on your screen setup:
Default max speed: 170% (Hispeedido v5)
Bridge solder jumper S1 to limit max speed to 150% (for stock LCD)
Bridge solder jumper S2 to limit max speed to 130% (for Funnyplaying IPS 3.0 inch and HISPEEDIDO "One Chip" v2)
Other Features:- Very low power consumption. Measured as <15mA using the Nordic Power Profiler Kit II.
- Accurate base clock (4.194Mhz). Measured as >0.01% accurate.
- There is will no difference between this mod and the original GBA crystal at stock speeds.
Installation:Multicoloured wire is included to aid with the install.
Remove the original GBA SP crystal. (Recommended: Use a hot air station for clean removal)
Install the flex mod as per the photos.
Solder the 3 points highlighted in pink circles.
Run wires to the 3 test points shown as the red, pink and blue wires.
Use flux for best soldering results.
(Optional) To enable the LED speed indicator, solder the green wire as shown.
Speed Limiting:- Bridge solder jumper S1 to cap speed at 150%
- Bridge solder jumper S2 to cap speed at 130%
