Description:

If your top screen has been physically damaged making it floppy, or it has a significant wobble with no resistance holding it up, then replacing the hinge could be the solution.

A top screen may hinge can be damaged from a drop, wear and tear or general failure of the barrel hinge, the hinge can be replaced with this set which includes the metal o-ring which installs on the left side, and a metal barrel hing which is fitted on the right hand side of the screen.

The hinge replacements need to be fitted internally and it therefore requires some console disassembly, a medium level of technical skill and knowledge is required to fit the part.

A Tri-wing and Philips screwdriver is required to open the New 3DS console (not included).

Compatible with Nintendo New 3DS consoles only, not compatible with XL models or the older 3DS released in 2012.
