Retro Frog is a US-based retro accessory designer; ZedLabz produces the 3D-printed range under license at our in-house print farm. The accessories solve specific retro-mod problems, supporting heavy HDMI adapter cables on GameCube, mounting Noctua fans where stock fans used to live, holding consoles vertical without third-party stands, and bracketing wireless dongles so they don't dangle. ZedLabz stocks the full range.
Quick picks across the range
- Easy entry point: a Retro Frog vertical stand for the console you collect, original Xbox, PSone, Switch, or even your RetroTink 4K / 5X Pro. Frees shelf space and orients the console for cable cleanliness.
- The HDMI mod helper: if you've installed an Eon GCHD MK2, Carby or Prism HDMI adapter on a GameCube, the Retro Frog support brace stops the heavy adapter cable from straining the AV connector.
- The cooling upgrade: Retro Frog's 40mm Noctua adapter for GameCube (use with the 12V NF-A4x10 FLX) or 60mm for original Xbox (use with the 12V NF-A6x25). Both Noctua fans live in our general electronic components range.
Retro Frog selection notes
- Vertical stands are 3D-printed in complementing colors per console, the range covers a variety of consoles including the original Xbox, Switch and Switch OLED. Check the live listing for current stocked variants and cable-cutout options.
- HDMI brace brackets are HDMI-adapter-specific, the Eon GCHD MK2, the GC Video / Carby and the Prism each have their own brace.
- Noctua adapters ship separately from the fans themselves, you'll need to add the matching Noctua fan to your order.
Shipped worldwide. Modder support if you need help matching a Retro Frog bracket to your specific HDMI adapter.

Retro Frog. FAQs
Do Retro Frog stands fit modded console shells?
Designed for original Microsoft / Sony / Nintendo shell dimensions. Slightly modified shells (custom paint, internal mods that don't change the outer shape) typically still fit. Significantly altered or aftermarket aluminum shells may not slot cleanly.
Why does a GameCube HDMI adapter need a brace?
Adapters like the Eon GCHD MK2, GC Video Carby and Prism are heavier than stock AV cables and can stress the GameCube's digital AV port over time. The Retro Frog brace bracket holds the adapter weight against the console body so the connector itself doesn't bear the load.
Does the Switch Retro Frog stand support OLED?
Yes, the Retro Frog Switch stand is designed for both Switch and Switch OLED, with a cutout for USB-C cable access while docked.
Why install a 2.5" to 3.5" HDD adapter on an original Xbox?
The Retro Frog adapter lets you mount a modern 2.5" SATA drive (with appropriate IDE-to-SATA bridge if needed) into the 3.5" original Xbox HDD bay. Useful when softmodding or swapping for a quieter / larger drive, the adapter handles the physical mount; the IDE / SATA conversion is separate.
