How do I tell the difference between PS3 Fat, Slim and Super Slim?
The PS3 Fat (2006-2009) is the original launch design with a glossy curved top and a slot-loading disc drive. The Slim (2009) is a redesigned smaller chassis. The Super Slim (2012) is smaller again with a sliding disc cover instead of a slot-loading drive. Many controller and cable parts cross all three; internal parts are revision-specific.
Will PS3 controller parts fit PS4 or PS5 controllers?
