Most controllers use this size of d-pad rubber measuring 53.5mm across, incompatible pads have an obviously larger d-pad rubber.

D Pad and buttons contacts
All fit quite well, the rubbers could do with being a little thicker in my opinion to give the D pad that bit better rebound and feel. All works though, would buy again.

Wrong size
I have received membrane but Dpad size is not correct, 3 button mega drive / genesis dpad membrane is bigger than you sent so it does not fit.

Check model of controller before buying.
Bought 4series, have 4 oem controllers and all the buttons dit fit and are working 100% now, but only 2 of the d-pads is the right model for my controllers.
These are great quality 10/10.
So before buying check if the d-pad inside the controller is the same as in the picture.

buttons work now, but the D-pad replacement isn't good
If you've taken apart a genesis controller, you'll see there's a small metal stabilizer ball in the middle of the silicone part for the D-pad. With this replacement, there is no such slot for some reason. This results in an unstable d-pad that will straight up input wrong directionals if you press down too hard. Streets of rage 2 was unplayable. unfortunately this seems to be the only place to get replacement pads besides ebay. I hope they update the D-pad part of these.
