Older Nintendo 64 games in particular often require a memory card to save progress, a large number of titles will save to memory pak with some able to save to both a memory card and internal memory in the game cartridge. Some games do not require a memory card and save using internal memory within the game cartridge so please check the requirements of the game titles prior to purchase.
The amount of space that each game needs to save varies by title, some games require only a few of the 123 pages whilst others need the entire memory card so keen N64 gamers are likely to need a few of these memory cards spare.
