Will Joy-Con grip caps fit the Switch OLED Joy-Cons?
Yes. The Joy-Con form factor and stick dimensions are shared across the original Switch and Switch OLED, so grip caps fit both. Switch Lite uses the same external Joy-Con dimensions when paired Joy-Cons are connected, but the integrated sticks on the Lite itself are the same size as the Joy-Con sticks.
Do Joy-Con grip handles charge the Joy-Cons?
Some grip handles are charging grips that include a USB-C input and pass charge to the Joy-Cons through the rails. Others are passive plastic frames with no charging function. The product page lists which is which.
Will Joy-Con grip caps interfere with Hall Effect modules?
No. Grip caps push onto the existing stick tops and don't interact with the underlying stick module. If you've installed Hall Effect Joy-Con sticks (browse our Hall Effect collection), grip caps still fit the same way.
Are Pro Controller grip caps the same as Joy-Con grip caps?
