Description
This simple open source power regulator board is designed for use in Nintendo Game Boy Color and Game Boy Pocket consoles fitted with modern IPS or OLED display upgrades. It replaces the original factory power board, providing stable power delivery suitable for higher-draw modern screens.
The original regulator must be fully removed from the motherboard before installation. Once removed, this replacement board is soldered directly to the console using four solder points. Header pins are supplied to assist with installation and alignment. This regulator is intended for experienced installers and modders familiar with console disassembly and soldering.
This product is not compatible with original OEM LCD screens. It is designed specifically for upgraded display installations where improved power regulation is required.
Manufactured in house using the original open source design and original parts list, 1.2mm thickness with ENIG finish, thanks goes to Jackv-makes for making this design available to all.

Q: Is this compatible with original Game Boy screens?
No. This regulator is designed for modern IPS and OLED screen upgrades only. Original OEM screens are not compatible.
