Description:
The 8BitDo Retro Receiver for PS enables wireless gameplay on original PlayStation 1 and PlayStation 2 consoles, and can also be used on Windows 10/11 for compatible Bluetooth controller play. Once connected to the PlayStation controller port, the receiver pairs via Bluetooth® with a wide range of modern controllers.
Supported controllers include popular 8BitDo models such as the Ultimate series, Pro 2, SN30 series, Lite series, NEOGEO pads and the 8BitDo Arcade Stick, as well as leading first-party controllers including the DualShock 4, DualSense / DualSense Edge, Xbox One / Series / Elite Series 2 / Adaptive Controller, Switch Pro and Wii U Pro.
The receiver also supports a wide range of 8BitDo Bluetooth Classic controllers (check 8bitdo website for full list)
This adapter provides a virtually lag-free wireless connection and supports controller vibration and firmware updates for ongoing improvements. It is compatible with both Bluetooth Classic and Bluetooth LE, giving strong flexibility across newer and older Bluetooth controllers.
Designed to fit cleanly into the original PlayStation controller port, the receiver is compact and lightweight for unobtrusive use. It measures 56 × 24 × 8 mm and weighs approximately 14.8 g.
Included in the package is the Retro Receiver unit and a USB cable for firmware updating, providing an easy way to bring modern wireless control to classic PS1 and PS2 systems.
