Replace ageing or failed capacitors in a VA5 or Majesco Sega Game Gear with this comprehensive replacement capacitor set.
Original Game Gear electrolytic capacitors are now several decades old and can deteriorate or leak over time. Failed capacitors can contribute to a range of problems including poor or missing sound, power issues, display problems and unstable operation.
This set provides replacement capacitors for compatible main, power and sound boards and supports Sega VA5 main board 837-10766 and Majesco PCB revision 1.71-7923A.
Component values can differ between VA5 and Majesco board variations. The set includes alternative values where required, so not every capacitor supplied will necessarily be fitted to every console. Check the components originally fitted to your board and install the appropriate replacements.
