Description:

Make your GameCube easier to service by swapping solder tab batteries for a battery holder for easy replacement of batteries in future when they eventually fail.

GameCube consoles have a coin battery soldered to the controller port PCB, this battery will expire and revent the console from keeping time.

Once installed this mod allows easy removal of the battery, simply slide the old battery out of the holder and replace the battery with another CR2032 battery to keep the system memory working on the GameCube

Includes Maxell CR2032 non rechargable battery and through hole battery holder, soldering and desoldering required to complete this mod.
