Description:Chip Quik SOLDERWICK2.8 is a 2.8mm wide copper desoldering braid, the #4 blue size. The wider braid soaks up more solder in one go, making it ideal for larger pads, connector pins, power jacks and through-hole components on console boards.
It is pre-fluxed with a no-clean flux so it wicks quickly and leaves very little residue. Press it onto the joint with a hot iron, let the solder flow into the braid, then trim off the used end.
Supplied as 5ft (1.52m) on a plastic bobbin.
