Description:Restore the connection between your Joy-Con 2 controller and the Nintendo Switch 2 console with this replacement magnetic connector and ribbon cable set.
The Joy-Con 2 attaches magnetically to the side of the Switch 2, and this connector carries power and data between the two. A damaged, dirty or worn connector or a torn ribbon can stop the controller being detected or charged when attached.
The ribbon cable plugs into a ZIF connector on the Joy-Con 2 board, so no soldering is needed, but the controller must be opened and carefully disassembled. Some adhesive tape may be needed to secure the cable in place.
The left and right connectors are different parts – this set includes both. Third party replacement part.
Please note: a faulty connection can have more than one cause – trying a known working Joy-Con 2 on the console can help show whether the fault is in the controller or the console.
