Description
Psikyo Shooting Library Vol. 1 collects six of Psikyo's arcade shooters in beautifully rendered high definition on one PlayStation 4 disc.
The Strikers trilogy anchors it. Strikers 1945 (1995) pits the Strikers team against the mysterious C.A.N.Y. organisation and its superweapons; Strikers 1945 II (1995) brings in the F.G.R. faction and its massive mecha technology; and Strikers 1945 III, released as Strikers 1999, has alien microbots infiltrating Earth's military bases.
Sol Divide is the odd one out and better for it - a side-scrolling shooter with RPG elements, in which three heroes try to stop the emperor Ifter from becoming a demon.
Dragon Blaze and Zero Gunner 2 complete the set, the latter offering multidirectional helicopter combat rather than conventional vertical scrolling.
A broad cross-section of one of the most respected names in arcade shooting, and a lot of game for a single disc.
