Description:
Kunio finds a note on his locker at school one day announcing a fighting tournament held by the Saber Tiger association. Rising to the challenge, Kunio sets out to prove his strength and is joined by his pal Riki. The tournament pits Kunio and Riki against eight teams to decide which is the strongest. Along with Story Mode, you can also try the Battle Mode and various multiplayer modes. This version of Nekketsu Fighting Legend has been newly translated into English for its first physical release outside of Japan.

Q) When can I order this?
A) This will be an open pre-order available from September 16th 2025 through October 19th, 2025. Independent retailers will have limited quantities after it has been released.
Q) What is included in this release?
A) Each release will come with a special white cartridge, a numbered deluxe hardcover game box, a full-colored instruction manual, and an exclusive acrylic cartridge display stand. For those who buy the bundle, you’ll receive a special edition slipcase to house both titles.
Q) How many will be made?
A) This is an open pre-order during the designated dates. Whatever is ordered once the window is closed is what will be produced.
Q) Will there be another reprint?
A) Like all of the titles we offer, this will be an open pre-order window for a limited time. There are no plans to reissue this collection.
Q) Will other titles from the Nekketsu series get a release as well?
A) At this time, we cannot make any further commitments. We are proud to work alongside Arc System Works in providing these games a physical release for the West.
Q) Will this be available for download or on other consoles?
A) This is a physical re-release of the NES®. We currently do not have plans to release it in any other form.
Q) What consoles can play these games?
A) These games are compatible with original NES® consoles (NTSC-U and PAL) as well as most 3rd party clone consoles.
Q) What voltage is used on the chip?
The NES cartridges use a 5-volt chip to retain your console’s performance and will not damage your console.
Q) Are the insert points beveled?
A) Yes, the insert points are beveled, and the edges are rounded to allow for proper insertion without damaging the pins in the cartridge slot.
Q) Is this game region-free?
A) Like our prior releases, this game is region-free so long as it is compatible with the console.

A) All licensing has been updated on both titles. Additionally, players can expect to see these changes:
a) The title screens have been updated. Each title is specifi c to Retro-Bit’s re-release.
b) Each game has a whole new English translation provided by Nathan Deren and Jonathan Antonioli.
c) All translations have been approved by Arc System Works. Updated
