Description
Snow Bros. 2 Special continues Toaplan's snowball-rolling arcade platformer, presented here as a Collector's Edition for Nintendo Switch.
The formula is unchanged, because it did not need changing. Freeze enemies into snowballs, then send them careering across the stage to clear everything in their path, one single-screen level at a time.
It is score-driven, fast and deliberately old-fashioned - the kind of game built for short sessions and repeated attempts rather than long campaigns.
Two-player co-op turns it into something rather different, with both players setting up snowballs for each other and occasionally ruining each other's runs.
The Collector's Edition adds physical extras alongside the game for series collectors.
