So admittedly I did not buy this directly from ZedLabz, but there was one for sale in a local shop near me. I have multiple official S controllers that need repairing, so I figured this would do in the meantime.

As far as I am aware, this is just the same as other generic xbox controllers, only with a ZedLabz sticker in the middle rather than the Xbox logo. The cable is shorter than an official controller by about a third, and features no breakaway connector.

The buttons are fine, and are a bit clickier than an official controller. The start & back buttons are a LOT clickier than an official controller.

The big issue with these controllers are the thumbsticks. While they are fine for basic & arcade games where precision is probably not a big deal, in a game like halo it is VERY difficult to strafe and keep your aim on your target at the same time, as the deadzones are so large it is really difficult to fine tune your aim. It is either all the way, or nothing essentially.

I paid £5 for this controller so it'll do as a spare, but I think if I had bought this directly from the website, I would have returned it.

I'd only use this pad to test stuff operates rather than actual gameplay.

Notably, the left stick can't decide if it's drifting or has a massive dead zone, making fine movement impossible.

The buttons vary in tactile feeling and travel, and the dpad feels mushy.

They work, but not nice enough that I'd want to play a long session with them, but they'd work to test inputs.
