Bit disappointing this time for my order, has never had a problem with any others items I've purchased, as this was a ds lite replacement game cartridge slot, which has a lot of pins which have to be soldered to the motherboard, a lot were bent, reason was this was put in a paper bag rather than a small box to protect the pins, the bag came in a box, did complain about this and it's been duly noted that they will look into this for future deliveries as this only adds extra time to a job to fix the pins before soldering it in.

I am overall very happy with this replacement part. Not quite as robust as the original part, but the originals are hard to come without a donor board, and these ports are a frequent failure point on original devices. The pins are definitely a bit thinner than the OEM part, which may affect long term durability depending on how you use your device. My only real complaint is that there are two plastic tabs in the back of the part that stick farther into the device compared to the original cartridge slot. The tabs prevented reassembly because they were hitting the stylus holder on the bottom plate when trying to put things back together. I cut off the tabs with some snips and then was able to close everything up with no problem.
Overall, I recommend this part. This is a good value and works well in the reassembled console. Just be aware there may be some tweaking needed for proper fitment.

The slot itself works reads cards fine, the only issue I came across though was that the clicker doesn't work (The game card doesn't click in the slot, only after a lot of tries).

Installation was fairly straightforward, works as described with no issues!

It looked fine, I soldered it and then... surprise, after 2 uses it didn't latch anymore so the cartridge didn't stay in place. Wasted money.

Exactly as described. It was sent in good time and reached me when I wanted it. One criticism is that it was packaged in a box far bigger than it needed to be - this is why I gave 4 stars and not 5.
