The Nintendo Wii (RVL-001) launched in 2006 and remains heavily collected for its motion controls and its native GameCube compatibility on early models. ZedLabz stocks Wii Remote and Nunchuk replacement parts, sensor bars, AV cables, GameCube-compatible controllers from Retro Fighters and Hyperkin, plus internal repair parts. The Wii's standard composite output looks soft on a modern HDMI TV, so HDMI-out adapters are a common upgrade route alongside cable replacements.
Quick picks for any Wii setup
- Easy entry point: a wireless replacement sensor bar plus a fresh AV cable, restores Wii Remote pointer accuracy and picture quality on units that have been in storage.
- The everyday refresh: wireless sensor bar, replacement Wii Remote silicone sleeves, fresh Nunchuk, and a Retro Fighters BattlerGC Pro wireless controller for GameCube-compatible games.
- The full kit: sensor bar, controller refresh, fresh AV cables and the consumable accessories (wrist straps, silicone sleeves) that wear in normal use.
The Wii repair and refresh ladder
- Sensor bar replacement: original wired sensor bars often fail or get damaged. Wireless replacements remove the cable run and battery-power the LEDs.
- Wii Remote sleeves and straps: silicone sleeves protect the remote and prevent slips during motion play.
- AV cable replacement: original Wii cables degrade or disappear; composite, S-Video and component options stocked.
- Controller refresh: Wii Remote, Nunchuk, Classic Controller, GameCube-compatible controllers (Retro Fighters BattlerGC Pro works on Wii via the GameCube ports on early Wii models).
- Internal repair parts: shells, screws, optical drive ribbons for the most common Wii faults.

Nintendo Wii. FAQs
Does my Wii play GameCube games?
Early Wii models (RVL-001) include GameCube backwards compatibility, the four GameCube controller ports and two GameCube memory card slots are visible under the flap on top. Nintendo removed GameCube compatibility on the later "Wii Family Edition" (RVL-101) and the Wii Mini. Check your console for the controller port flap before ordering GameCube-related parts.
Can the Wii output HDMI?
Not natively, the Wii's video output is the proprietary AV multi-out (composite, S-Video or component, depending on cable). Third-party HDMI adapters convert the analogue signal to HDMI for modern TVs. Where stocked, these are external plug-and-play adapters with no console modification.
Why use a wireless sensor bar?
The original wired sensor bar runs from the back of the Wii to the top of the TV. Wireless replacements use battery-powered IR LEDs in the same form factor, so you remove a cable run, and they make sense if your Wii is set up away from the TV or in a portable setup. Wii Remote pointer accuracy is the same.
Do Retro Fighters BattlerGC Pro controllers work on Wii?
The BattlerGC Pro is a wireless GameCube-compatible controller that works on Nintendo GameCube, Wii (via the GameCube controller ports on early Wii models), Switch and PC. On a Wii Family Edition (no GameCube ports) it doesn't connect for GameCube-compatible games.
Can I replace the Wii's optical drive?
Replacement Wii optical drives and drive ribbons are stocked for repair. The drive isn't board-paired the way later PlayStation drives are, so swapping is mechanically straightforward, but it's an internal repair that benefits from steady tool work.
